The smaller of our two shepherd's huts, Bill's sits in a sunny spot on the bank of our springfed lake. Sleeping two, Bill's features a vintage 1960's map wall, cosy sleeping quarters and an amazing outlook.

A slightly larger shepherd's hut, Edgar's hides away under a glorious ash tree on the lakeside. Edgar's sleep two in the cosy hand built double bed, with everything you could need for your stay!

Honesty one of our favourite ever stays. We’ve been really lucky to use Airbnb all over the world but we can’t really think about a host or a place that has made us feel this good. The shack (we stayed in Edgar) is even sweeter/cuter in real life if that’s even possible?! Annabel has thought of absolutely everything and hasn’t skimped anywhere. The attention to detail was just incredible. I imagine it’s really tricky for hosts at the moment making sure everything is super clean and tidy but throughout our whole stay it was clear the utmost care was taken. Everything felt practically brand new - also how can an outhouse bathroom and shower next to a chicken coop be that much nicer than ours at home?! 😄 We loved the sounds of the cows munching the grass in the field next door, the little fire pit for us to cook our dinner on, the number of stars we could count each night... if we knew how close it was to everything we wanted to see in the area we would have definitely stayed another couple of days. We will 100% be coming back!

Just back from a couple of nights staying at Edgars. We wanted a peaceful break in lovely accommodation and that is what we got. Loved the shepherd's hut and all the touches. There wasn't a single thing extra needed, all was thought of and clean. Thank you for the info on places to eat and walks. Can't recommend enough

This place is magical! We loved everything. Such a great attention for details. We couldn't ask for more. I am so happy I chose this place for my 40th Birthday (thank you also for the wonderful cake, delicious!!) We are definitely coming back! A place with heart.

We had a really wonderful stay , everything you needed was there for you. The host Alexa and her husband are incredibly lovely hosts - nothing was to much trouble. Watching the cows go by to be milked and the sheep grazing from our cottage was just amazing!! If you like nature and rural beauty you will not be disappointed!! We are looking forward to stay there again as we had a truly wonderful time Thank you for making our stay the memorable

Thank you so much for a wonderful stay! We escaped to the countryside for some peace and quiet and to re-charge our batteries - we couldn't have asked for a better place to do this! The hut is really cute and cosy and had everything we could possibly need. We particularly enjoyed watching the sunrise every morning and cooking on the firepit - we took your advice and tried the camembert which we enjoyed with a lovely bottle of red. We loved exploring the area and did the 'Boxing Day Walk' and visited several local pubs and resturants as well as the Old Castle in Sherborne. The farm is a magical place to stay and we will definitely be back!
